The food here is really delicious. Although mostly "good German home cooking" and practically nothing for vegetarians or even vegans, the combination is quite creative. The fish menu in particular was more imaginative than I experienced on a North Sea vacation. But now to the negative: the corona protection rules were unfortunately only extremely poorly adhered to. The waitress only wore mouth and nose protection at times (optionally under the nose or not at all), more than 10 people sat at a table and guests walking around were even encouraged not to put on the mouth protection. Currently an absolute NoGo!

The rooms are not cleaned daily, bad TV reception, very badly soundproofed, smoke alarms dismantled, the owner likes to sit in front of the bar instead of standing behind it, access to the dining room at breakfast via the kitchen (!!!) and "Corona" is a foreign word in the bar . Once and never again, sry.

There are really delicious mussel dishes here. So if you are in the mood for mussels, don't hesitate ...

The restaurant needs to be renovated. I've known it for decades. It's a little too dark. The service very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and you can order smaller items.

The landlord was already drunk on arrival at 19:00 and mobbed around. When asked if there was anything to eat, he laughed at us and made insulting comments. The landlord is probably his best customer ...

Furnishing is getting old. Otherwise nice room for larger celebrations.

Unfortunately not recommended - a shame. The Oktoberfest menu sounded great, but unfortunately my "slaughter plate" was partly burnt and partly tasteless. Mashed potatoes didn't even taste like butter and sauerkraut wasn't even a bit sour. My husband had fried potatoes as a side dish, which he didn't touch because they tasted bad, whether that was due to the old oil or really the potatoes ?! A star is only for the Nuremberg desert, they were good and nice service.

The staff is very nice! Prices okay, rather higher. The fish fingers were like stones. Very dry and hard. It has noticed that were clearly too long in the deep fryer and we had to wait 30 minutes for it.

Food sensational Seldom eaten so well !!!! Always to the point 😋 If you place the order with a larger group, everyone gets their food at the same time I highly recommend it

Hotel and restaurant in the heart of Niederkassel on the market square. Parking spaces are available. Restaurant with excellent cuisine. Also suitable for larger celebrations. Here the boss still cooks himself. Every time we went home full and satisfied.
